Sunnyvale Squares Sept. 21

It was a cool and windy last day of summer and this evening was a good night for dancing to keep warm.
We did lots of interesting choreography in our squares and rounds as well as in our six couple rectangle.
Our caller Jim also introduced the club to Sicilian Circles, which is basically two couple pairs working around a large circle. Each time you pass through, you move onto a new couple and work your way around the circle. Most people had not seen or experienced this before so once we all got the hang of what was supposed to happen, it was lots of fun.
I used to do that kind of dancing years ago at Canadian Square Dance festivals for mixers and to get everyone up on the floor and warmed up at the beginning. Never knew it had a name though.
We also had some interesting choreography with some round dances I apparently hadn't done before or for a long time. Here are the dances we experienced tonight.
