A Little About Me
I started out square dancing in the Ottawa Valley (Canada) and
currently dance at the C3A level in the Santa Clara Valley (California). I've
been cueing rounds since 2005. Originally from just outside Ottawa, Ontario,
Canada, I travelled back and forth to the San Francisco Bay Area of California
for my job. While there, I went square dancing and got
interested in dancing rounds, then how to cue the dances. I taught myself how
to cue after the first trip to California, but got more practice, stage
time and mentoring after returning to California for another few
months, then eventually to stay.
I've cued at several hoedowns, festivals, benefit dances,
round dance parties and for several clubs in the area and tried my hand at

I'm
currently a member of Roundalab, and
local associations: Northern California Round Dance Teachers Association (NCRDTA),
and Santa Clara Valley Callers Association (SCVCA). I
am currently licensed under ASCAP, BMI and SESAC and cue dances from Phase 1
through 5.
